Lakiesha Sheaffer is a nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She initiated her nursing career in her hometown of Panama City in 2010. She acquired her Master of Science Degree in Nursing and her Post Master’s Certificate for Family Nurse Practitioner from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, in 2016.
Before her career as a nurse practitioner, Lakiesha worked in the Coronary Care Unit at Rogue Regional Medical Center for over 4 years, where she cared for patients after heart and lung surgery and heart failure. She has extensive experience working with medical devices, including ventricular assistive devices (VADs) and pacemakers.
